I am trained in Occupational Therapy; Polarity Therapy and Integrative Baby Therapy. Read more about my training.
Therapy sessions are not divided into three different or discreet types of therapy. What I offer in each session is the interwoven knowledge as well as personal and work experience from my three qualifications.
How long is a session?
For adults, children and babies:
- the initial session is an hour and a half
- subsequent sessions are an hour
How many sessions are needed, and how frequently?
- A noticeable improvement in a specific area of difficulty is generally apparent following the first session. However, it is typical that a (baby/child/adult) client will require and continue to benefit from a further 3 to 5 sessions for that particular issue or area of difficulty
- Sessions are usually scheduled a fortnight apart. However, the last one may be 3 to 4 weeks after the previous one.
- Many clients (or their parent/s) may choose to return for regular further sessions, spaced a month apart, or to return for a cluster of sessions at a future time of difficulty and/or transition.
How is a session booked?
